Kelly Mcgonigal talks about Will Power like it is a muscle. If Will Power can fatigue like a Muscle than that means we need to be prudent in how we use it.

She says that we have I Will, I Want and I Won't parts of our Will Power. What does that mean for us that are struggling to stop weight gain. Well if we use all of our I will ( willl power) on an arduous exercise program, how much I won't (will power) will we have for resisting the temptation to over eat.

So, MODERATE the exercise program so you will have the I Won't power to stop when full. The brain and body work together. Self compassion is understanding that and not overusing Will Power to whip your body into shape.
